Anonymous, what do you think about Windows 11?
I'm posting this on ASUS gaming laptop and i don't own this computer.

I just have an old laptop running glorious Windows 7!

I don't think about it. I bought a new laptop recently and I didn't even boot into the dumpster fire that is windows 11. I promptly put a boot usb stick and installed windows 10 ltsc. When that runs out I'll either buy a mac or linux.

Indians truly are the kings of enshittification on multiple levels. They did manage to achieve pooper power after all.

The easiest way to get your machine working well is to install 10 LTSC IoT. The somewhat harder, but more future-proof way is to install Linux Mint and become accustomed to it before microsoft account requires an anal probing to log in.

By the way, fun story: my new mini pc shipped with win11 preinstalled. I was eager to log in at least once to check something, but that shit demanded me to updoot to the latest version before giving me any control. And it got stuck. 1 hour later I googled the random % at which it was stuck, and discovered that it is an OLD PROBLEM with updating from some stupid version to another. Did they fix it? Nah, bro, just use these registry hacks, then you can updoot a-ok.
5 minutes later Fedora was installed without a fucking hiccup and a valuable lesson was learned.

I hate it with a passion and if I got into it, I could write an entire book with reasons and explanations as to why Windows 11 is the filthiest, most incompetent shit on this planet. I test-drove it during early preview phase, was forced to upgrade to it later to use some niche software, always downgraded not even a week thereafter. It's slow, bloated just straight up awful.

Clean installs aren't great either but usable at least.

No, I do not recommend it. The N4000 intel cpu generation is massively better and can use the new anv and iris drivers instead of the broken hasvk and crocus drivers.
