I would unironically support a manufacturer going into a "phat phone, bigger battery, more robust, more ports" direction.
For example building phones a bit like modern handheld radios.
We really need something a bit more open and we need it before google is done fully taking our ability to install software away. Because afterwards it will just become much harder to get certain software on another platform.
Let's be real the only real blockers for alternative phones, software wise, are 1-2 Messenger and 1-2 banking apps. And the latter is already beginning to participate in the jewish lockdown strategies of not running on phones without jewgle despite there being no reason to do so (Except killing user freedom)
