What are you hoping to tidy up? It might help to move anything you don’t use every day into its own spot like those extra gamepads. You can use anything. Shelves, pegboards, or even simple drawers. Feel free to throw away stuff you never use. Having a friend who'll watch you helps. From my experience, hobby gear that gets shoved out of sight usually doesn’t get used, or it rarely ends up back where it belongs. Also, cable management with velcro looks great, but pretty time-consuming.
