So is buying a laptop with a regular CPU going to become the new "trying to buy a non-smart TV"? This shit seems useless and just adds to the price for nothing.

not connecting a smart TV to the internet is the exact same thing as not using copilot on your ""AI"" CPU dumb fucking mongoloid

It's also funny how bad they are at their supposed job.
These things do like 35 AI TOPS. An Nvidia 5090 does 3500. they are so fucking removed from running even a a decent, event just an acceptable model.
It's a complete waste of space.

This is hardly a thing now, I think Schenker / XMG did this on their high end machines and there were a few Thinkpads in the 2000s that did this but afail there is no current production laptop with a desktop CPU

anon, there are other things than LLM that benefit from a low power INT8 kernel, you are aware of that right?

The additional die area consumed by by these on CPU "TPUs" is tiny.
It's basically just a SIMD extension.
So nowhere comparable to "trying to buy a non-smart TV"

You are looking at totally different figures

35 trillion operations per second is more than enough for a model with only 12 billion parameters

does feel like a grift. driver support is usually abandoned as soon as the hardware is released (if the driver support materializes at all.)
>>107157982
who would use that though? its completely useless. free tier online gpts will mog anything you can run locally with so few params.
