How would you explain generative AI video to someone from 1726?

"Basically you see, its like a massive pipeline that pressure switches things inside it through signals that allows things to pop up with the correct coding and language, its kind of like idea behind magic but its actually just science using electricity and harnessing it for processing power through these devices inside it, no there's no demonic thingamajic going on and its impossible to summon demons with the help of a device like smartphone or a computer even if themotherboard and the formulae look like some kind of solomonic magic circles and sigils."

How fast would I be burned alive? (Better yet I would try to avoid explaining the black magic sounding mumbo jumbo about synthetic materials like plastic and shit... That's straight up more witchcraft than just a device that does things and shows pictures.)

If you still alive by the point you explain the concept of pictures, moving pictures and rectangles that can show this shit, telling someone that a strange box can create videos upon request is a small task.

you gotta do it in stages how technology has evolved in reality.
first explain and shot them what a photo is that would blow their mind already then graducally explain every development in chronological order

They had no concept of running electricity in 1726. You've lost them there already. I doubt they would burn you, that's a stereotype. They'd probably beat you up and steal your stuff. Maybe they'd lock you in an asylum if you kept preaching.

We made this tiny sigil out of glass and metal that we used as a vat for growing a little demon brain that then watched enough theatres until it started conjuring its own theatres. And to power it we need the same energy that causes lightning.

There was a poster "Say you went back in time. I got you covered" and a bunch of facts shoved in that you could actually use/teach starting with what you had back then.

To be quite honest, really, I think modern soft skills, pilpulling, trolling, emotional manipulation, motivating people to work for you, etc, would be way more useful to a time traveller. But the avegrage 4chin autismos have none of that.

If you bring a phone with hand generator, flashlight with the same hand generator, gun with at least 300 bullets and fill your phone with pdfs on how to build anything and where to find strategic ore deposits to order building lines you could speed run the industrial revolution in your lifetime being born in like Rome or 12th century Europe. Biggest problem would be understanding people around you with god knows what language and accent. Just listen to how some Scottish people speak and realise that’s the same language as English, now imagine speaking in pre-Shakespeare English with god knows what accent.

Latin. Rome Empire was huge and biggest player in its time, so they'd see your horrible accent as either some jeet/aussie in the British Emprie or some ESL third worlder anyway. Later on, Ecclesiastic Latin would give the same vibe to native speakers, plus you'd get an interpreter of the clergy, bypassing common folk:
>Ave Maria gratia plena, Dominus tecum
>this filthy pagan with his magical slab sure seems to be trying, let's see how we can convert him to abandon his ways and live the trve trad life shovelling dung

smart people of any era would understand what you mean if you can actually explain it, even without that ability they'd probably be able to get the gist.
Stuff like the camera obscura has been known for thousands of years.

Do you understand how flipping the pages really fast in a picture book can give the illusion of movement?
Imagine a machine that you can put billions of images into, it will sort them into groups, and you can tell the machine to make any pattern of images you like
the machine will even take pieces of images and splice the pieces to make new images if you ask it to
in this way, the machine artificially but intelligently generates groups of moving pictures called video (latin for "I see") as commanded

In the 1700's they envisioned mechanical computers controlling automatons.
They just lacked electrical knowledge.
So I guess try to pretend that electricity can do something it can't, and we'll play catch up again.
