21:9, worth it?
I want to replace my dual monitor setup with a single 21:9 34" (3440x1440) OLED
Use case:
>De-clutter desktop
>Gaymen (Black bars?)
>Emulation (Black bars?)
>Loonix
>Media consumption
>Virtual desktops
>Splitting/snapping windows
>Shit posting
>Anti adhd/brainrot multi-media/goon
>Reducing gpu idle power draw (2 diff refresh rate bug)
So what do you think, is it worth it?

its literally 2 panels as one monitor.

I think this is a gaint waste of money but the reasons given here are not good.
>>Splitting/snapping windows
Only if you are going to use something like fancy zones like on Windows, KDE has that too.
>>Anti adhd/brainrot multi-media/goon
No, I have used this same style of reasoning to, I didn't become more productive buying a desktop when I was only using laptops.

Cool feature, but I feel like that would be much better on a 32:9

I'm not 100% certain yet, but I'm interested in one. I use fancy zones already and I feel like with virtual desktops, I can def. use a single monitor. But yea, in the end if would be a waste of money, especially since I already own 2 monitors, but OLED would be nice.

No. Standard is 16:9.

But phones are more and more 9:21, so having a monitor that's 21:9 is basically a flipped phone. And today's world is optimized for phones *cope*

How many youtube videos do you see that are in 21:9? Exactly.

Just get a 32" 4K 16:9
If 1080p taught us anything it is that this will be the standard for the next 20 years
Any other panel should be tailored to needs, i.e. drawing or VR
