Am i gonna have to get a vpn or cave in and age verify a shitposting account? Dunno if it's worth it. Might just abandon ship, the site sucks now with a fucked up irrelevant timeline

Context is that most of my feed consists of things i'm not interested in and i can't see half of it because it's censored behind an age verification wall

It used to be like 4chan for a while but with higher traffic. Could see any breaking news immediately with uncensored videos and almost unfiltered commentary. Following porn accounts, models, celebs and anyone interesting with a name next to their posts. A fun break from this site every now and then

I use it like 30 minutes top per day now. One of my least prioritized websites. It's gotten really bad, it's a shame because it had potential to become a big platform with liberty protections that you wouldn't see on most other sites

I'm pretty sure the new meta everywhere is just "mobile game ads, but for real". Things aren't trying to be good, but bad enough to make you go "I could do so much better than this retard" and engage with it.

Civil society is a lot like those mobile games. >kiss the princess!!! >look how fun everything is!
how long do you slog through it before you realize there is no fun, or princess?

Yes, but I don't remember it being like that 30 years ago, but I honestly can't tell if I'm just misremembering things.
