He runs it in an ostensibly highly principled way. I'm not interested in finding out or debating whether he succeeds in that or not, but he thinks he does. He wouldn't sell it becaues he doesn't think anyone else could run it the way he wants it run.
Besides, who would want to take ownership of KF and run it as it's been running? Isn't it in like 3 lawsuits right now? It's probably one of the most attacked sites on the internet.
