Why does AI talk like that?
So, I've been using ChatGPT to research a specific thing. I just give it random prompts, and one thing that sticks out is the way it speaks. Why is that? It uses a lot of emojis, and I don't know how to explain it, but it just has this very weird way of speaking. It's not human-like, and it's quite annoying.
I don't have a deep understanding of why AI talks like that, but does anybody know why they do, especially if the humans training them don't talk like that? Is it because the AI is trying to perfect its text, unlike us humans who may have imperfections in our text, which leads to the AI talking in a peculiar way?

The idea behind llms is they can predict what the next token will be, and hence reproduce any style of speaking. The issue is that they don’t know which style to reproduce, so they end up mushing them all together in a very distinctive way. This can be overcome by forcing them to speak in a particular style, but it takes a lot of effort.

because the providers include "be friendly and verbose" in the prompt without you being the one to add it
it was told what a "friendly post" looks like, using FACEBOOK EXAMPLES
