Brave on Android
Youtube videos get unexpectedly zoomed in when in full screen and my zoom is enabled in brave.
>Go to settings accessibility change default zoom
>Navigate to youtube and open any video in full screen
>Video in full screen mode is zoomed in with anchoring to the top left corner. In other words the bottom and right side of the video gets cropped out.
>The extent of the zoom depends on the zoom set in the settings

why clutter your phone with redundant apps if the browser does the same?

Me, I do it to avoid ads from the normal youtube app. Also, the normal youtube app stops whatever video you are playing when you turn your screen off. This is extremely bad for me since my use case is using it at work to listen to things, not to actually watch anything. For this reason using youtube inside of brave on my mobile device is perfect.

Why have an RSS reader if you can just bookmark every website? It's more convenient. Also the download feature and cross platform playlists are really nice

I will consider Newpipe or Grayjay when I start experiencing issues with running youtube inside of mobile brave, but I am fine not switching for now.

try VPN to Albania. No ads from the official youtube app.

NIG/g/A
Your lovely "app" ignores phone system\vpn DNS servers and using google 8.8.8.8 as DoH right from app.
You can't block ads using app

NewPipe is run by German trannies.
Use a fork like Tubular that supports sponsorblock, or a fork like PipePipe with active independent development taking place (&also supports sponsorblock)
