Can concur. One of my best friends I ever had, including humans, was this gigantic orange tabby cat that simply walked into my house one day while my family was moving into it back when I was teenager. He sussed us out, realized we were cool, and then decided to spend the rest of his life with us. He really responded to respect, if you showed it to him he would be the biggest bro a cat could possibly be. He would play with you, hang out, never whine or be mean. Eventually we found out he would prowl the neighborhood looking for people smoking weed, and then hang around them getting high lol. A few years later when I started smoking, sometimes he would join me and my friends on the patio. One time I took a big rip and then patted him on the back. He turned to me, I gave him a huge shotgun, and then for a while he just sat there with his eyes closed. Suddenly he exhales through his nose and he actually inhaled it! We almost died laughing. A little while later he walked out onto the grass, laid down, and just looked up at the stars for like 30 minutes. God I miss that cat.
