Ray is closer to what you see from blender creators while the other is basically an enhanced version of the base MMD shading.
Funnily enough, with ray I tend to use effects that bring back the 2D anime look a little bit while with excellentshadow I use effects that add all the bells and whistles that come with ray.

been chilling in mmd and came up with some good model mashups. I love taimanin/latex/magical girl outfits, so i always try to swap their outfits in.

For God's sakes people... Thanks for high quality but please learn how to encode. There is no reason a two or three minute 1920x1080 clip should be over 4 fucking gigabytes especially if you are using HEVC.
What's going on? Why do people do this? This has been going on for years. I've had to get a second NAS array just to save the good quality videos. It's insane. This high of a bit rate is BEYOND OVERKILL.

The HTPC connects by WIFI 6 to the NAS I have in my server/equipment room. I've never really watched MMD videos in the home theater because... Why? I normally only use it to fap and I don't do that in my home theater.
