I wouldnt say you are overpaying, just because his quality is really good, its more of a personal preference for me. If I am paying a lot for a manga, I typically want to try to milk a lot more out of the idea. Your case is especially special since you want someone who is rather consistently open, draws your characters super well and consistently, knows them, and keeps the quality quite high, and from what ive seen he does that very well.

Im just a bit more frugal, and im willing to take risks if it means I can potentially score a lot of nice pages for a rather reasonable budget. Its how my recent 2 Estelle manga had their ideas near fully realized without breaking my bank. I simply have a much harder time only settling on one manga page because I feel blue balled a bit even if I can get some high quality ones one at a time. I appreciate your answers, I know you get grilled on it a lot but I often forget the finer details.

Bro please learn to structure your requests if you want to capture every detail. Dude has been just typing away his requests and praying that Skeb's internal DeepL is going to magically translate every single detail across without error.

Always always cross-check your requests through DeepL and possibly through Google TL to double check.
There are some cases where Skeb's DeepL fucks up a few phrases and sentences but at that point you just gotta pray the artist themselves would translate the sentence themselves.

Have you guys gone to an artist to design an outfit for you? I did a recent skeb commission where I gave him options and he went the simplest route. Then I did another commission and I am hoping he'll add some more pizazz to it, after we discussed it a bit.

I want to design an outfit for OC (her school's uniform) so I'm wondering how I should proceed. I have a rough idea for references but the idea I have in mind is kinda boring. I want to use this outfit for the heroine for a game I'm working on. And I don't have a design for the heroine yet (but I have ideas).

I've had mixed experiences asking for outfit designs on skeb, I usually get better results from traditional comms for design needs as I can actually provide feedback and ask for changes to the design without having to resend a request every time.
The one outfit designer I can highly recommend on skeb is https://skeb.jp/@hyper_whoz, they took everything I asked for into consideration and they basically nailed what I wanted, despite the small request body size. And all the other requests they've done look great too. They are pretty slow, however.

And come up with an "Easter" (or havest goddess) color palette. The skirt is probably going to be box pleated but plaid.
