Probably Hebrew, because even the parts of Genesis taking place before Babel have a bunch of puns that only make sense in Hebrew (e.g. "she is called woman (אישה) because she was formed from man (איש)", "I will call him Cain (קין) because I have gotten (קניתי) him from YHWH", "there was still no human (אדם) to work the earth (אדמה)"...)
