Why tf did the germans put up no anti communist/allied insurgency after ww2 because usually the remnants of a state or an army do thar and in this case the Wehrmacht totally ceased after ww2. The croatian ustaลกe for example who were probably the germans most loyal allies led an anti communist insurgency against yugoslavia for 5 more years after the ww2. Yet the germans somehow totally gave up after ww2. It's just kind of mind boggling how such a strong 12 million soldier army like the Wehrmacht totally gave up and put up no form of resistance after ww2. Yeah they did surrender but usually in history you got like remnants of loyalists who will continue to fight even after surrender. Just like the assadist insurgency in syria right now.
