Plenty of people blame Bush for 9/11. He still takes flak for waiting a mere seven minutes after learning that the South Tower had been hit on September 11th, 2001 to excuse himself from the class that was reading "The Pet Goat". Even after virtually everyone who was in the room that day, including the kids, has publicly come out in defense of his actions.
