Why do you still believe in deities?
A thing that can't be explained rationally is no more real or useful than a fable.
I fail to see why a Inteligent individual would willingly believe in something as ridiculous as a God who can't even show himself rationally instead being in a metaphysical realm away from physical and who requires imaginative faith to believe in.

Anon what I believe is there are things which may not be measured through contemporary scientific means, for instance, I may statistically have a small chance to fuck your mother tonight yet some feeling of unease tells me the end result wouldn't be positive for me. Can I scientifically measure the repugnance I feel towards your mother? I think not because that's my unique and subjective experience, but you get the point.
