Another point would be that he had basically no idea of his own(probably because he was a good soldier/commander) but executed other peoples ideas that he liked extremely well.
I somewhat dislike him on account of his economic policy for example
Since it's actually Ziya Gökalp's, a man more occupied with ancient turkic rites than sociology writing on the latter. The guy has like a paragraph on econ, which is essentially milk toast fascism(Turks are a cooperative race(?????)>>> cuck to gooberment at every turn (despite historical evidence to the contrary))
Same with the govt, he inherited the insurgency from the ittihadist preperations and Karabekir's army, both of which he rode so hard there is a literal song
