Well... not really. Since There's not much "roman" admixture among the French samples or even the modern ones. In fact, using tools like HIrisPlex-S, which allows us to make more "predictable" results, the average Gaul wasn't much "light" to be fair. They had majority light brown and brown/hazel eyes

As a Spaniard, I feel honored to know how similar we are to our ancestors :)
We are closer to the early Celts than anyone else, and we can be modeled after almost half Hallstatt according to G25, and it's amazing how similar our features are. Beautiful brown hair and light brown eyes and beautiful intermediate skin. The Nordoids lose with every study that comes out haha there really isn't a single study in their favor
