Europe is a massive peninsula with natural ports and access to the Atlantic Ocean, which gave them far closer access to North America than the East, which gave Europeans staging areas to form colonial outposts to continue their global conquest. The fact that it took until 1492 before anyone from Europe even realized there was another continent just over the pond is proof that Europes global conquest ISN'T becamse of some innate racial autism, if it was just because of racial superiority, Europe would've conquered North America thousands of years ago (and no, Greenland doesn't count because it's even closer to Northern Europe than anywhere else and they still just fucking left it for no reason lmao)

Europe has had technological and cultural superiority long before colonizing other continents. Europeans colonized other continents precisely because they had developed the means to do so. Even during prehistory, the antecedents of modern Europeans (farmers from Anatolia, Indo-Europeans) were technologically and culturally superior. Mediterraneans are most closely related to the people who invented agriculture (not Arabs, like is often assumed). The Indo-Europeans were the most technologically advanced people of their time, and conquered half of Eurasia. It's racial superiority, the majority of important inventions in the modern era were invented by Europeans, and even the majority of important innovations in pre-history came from the antecedents/people who were most genetically similar to modern Europeans.

No one else really had the appetite or capability for naval exploration and naval dominance except European powers. Europe also got better at war than everyone else, and had a technological boost (aided by their extensive naval trade networks). If you look at the 17th-18th centuries, where Europe really came into its own, there simply weren't any competitors. Africa and the Americas are completely disqualified (the concept of a ocean-bearing naval fleet being beyond them). China and Japan were too self-absorbed to look outwards. The middle east had too much to occupy it in its immediate surroundings.

For whatever reason Europeans had the most robust technological output, particularly within firearms and naval warfare. European naval vessels were undisputed early, like 16th century early. But For firearms and cannery, rhe Muslim world was still trading blows until the 18th century, then onwards europe was pulling ahead rapidly. This can defintely be partially attributed to the imperial conquests and its wealth that Europe was afforded due to their technological superiority.

European soldiery wasn't particularly notably otherwise, esepcially the British, who owed all their conquests due to technological advantage.

It's kind of funny too, in the 15th century imperial China had built the world's larges fleet in history and had one of the most competent admirals (whose name I'm blanking on), but the eunuchs (literal ballless secretaries who ran China with an iron fist) thought it was too much of a stretch to explore the world and too expensive to maintain an imperial navy, and so called it off to support their terrestrial interests. As such China never explored the pacific.
