Why did Davidski remove the Proto-Villanovan sample from the IA_Republic average even though it's not really an outlier? With it they cluster more firmly with Italians like it should.

Like, he has those files on an article of his blog, but has he even touched those files in recent times? The Vahaduo website provides updated G25 files. Davidski might not have anything to do with it.

They haven't been updated in a year but OP isn't saying he did it recently, the samples have always been structured like this. G25 is kind of dying between Davidski's laziness and dissatisfied interest groups attacking it lately.

There are now many amateurs who are capable of using admixtools just like in papers. Things are not like they are five or six years ago when qpadm and qpwave were still a mystery. Because Italians from different parts of italy are basically the closest to every population that did something from like the late bronze age to late antiquity in europe so there is crazy anti italian bias to try and separate at least some part of history from the peninsula.
Imagine there is a race that basically has all the ancient greeks figures, all the roman figures, and even a significant amount of carthaginian figures as close match in a forum-like environment where everyone is trying to guess the "master race". It's just too much history.
Greeks get the same treatment but mostly because they decided to stick with italians in the debate
