If you do not agree, then chances are you are doing evil things and feel no remorse for it. Therefore, you deserve nothing but execution so that you do not threaten the ones who are repentant

You can ask questions about why Jesus do things. In fact, he completely welcome anyone who wanted to discuss and debate his plans. But, in the end, you have to be prepared to recognize that he is right, you are wrong, and any who refuse to acknowledge that is the actual danger

The common values between the two religions such as belief in one God, the ten commandments, and Jesus' two great commandments which any modern rabbi will agree was a wise and correct statement.

It sounds very possible that the idea of "Judeo-Christian values" is something Christians say to imply "obviously people outside my religion tend to be godless remorseless sinners, but I guess the Jews aren't all bad, they do at least have SOME doctrine in common with us. Not like those (gasp) ATHEISTS!"

People often talk about values when what they really mean are principles or beliefs. What is a value? Is it just when you value something? Christians have said, for example, that they value the family, as an explanation for why gay couples acting as lovers is bad. But what they really mean is they think gay couples being socially accepted is bad for "the family."

Saying you value a thing probably doesn't have as specific a meaning as saying you believe a specific idea about that thing. Do people who think gay couples are harmless not value "the family?" Maybe family values are just propositions about what family structure and familial customs are most likely to make the people in a family happy with their familial relationships. That and propositions about what society should do about families that lack such a structure and such customs.

One thing is that it doesn't make much sense. Judaism leans more toward orthopraxy instead of orthodoxy like Christianity, it's a non proselytizing tribal religion vs Christianity's universal proselytizing.
