Most men hate things that are beautiful. That’s why when they see a pretty girl, they think about brutally raping her and bashing/cutting her face until she’s ugly. They also hate beautiful scenery, that’s why most rich scrotes in power love pollution and don’t do anything about the homeless making most cities look like a garbage dump. The modern world downgraded form for function. This has an extreme expression in America where the philosophy of Pragmatism (in the William James sense) holds sway and can be summed up as "whatever works." Look at how we build our cars compared to European or Japanese cars. They're not as elegant, they look clunkier, they're "built to do things." And that's just the way we like it.
