Afro-primitivism. The establishment will attempt to push a narrative that the violent fear-based religions of Africa (and descendants) are actually deep and wise and have something to teach that modern white-science is unable to understand (and it'll be fat black women who espouse this "wisdom"). Don't believe me, look at the movie sinners.

See I put blonde hair on a bunch of curly haired med people in Photoshop, that means they were Nordic. Just disregard the fact they now look like a bunch uncanny drag queens since their facial traits don't match the gay ass blonde hair at all. Start being proud of your own "culture" of being illiterate mudhut dwelling barbarians for millennia, Shitlerite

Immortals and every Hercules movie takes place during the same time period as the Trojan war, Conan the Barbarian isn't technically from the same time period but it's thematically similar.

>>17789006
The idea that light-haired people didn't exist in Southern Europe in the past despite being relatively common now is the delusional perspective.
Anonymous No.17790168
>>17790109
That doesn't mean they were ''nordic'', nordic people couldn't write nor read and were living in mudhuts at the time of the Romans, also their facial features were completely different, nordoids tend to have short noses, high foreheads, straight hair. Romans predominant phenotype is curly hair and aquiline noses, those are med features.
Imagine if southern europeans pointed at dark haired people in Germany and Scandinavia and were like ''that means Germany and Scandinavia are med like us!'', it would be utterly retarded, but that's ''nordicism'' for you

There's nothing "Bronze age" About conan the barbarian you absolute retard
How is it "themetically similar"? Conan wears medieval armor in the stories and most of the kingdoms in the Hyborian age are medieval inspired.
Howard didn't even particularly like the bronze age, bronze age greece in particular he really didn't care much for

Sethian cultists didn't exist in the medieval era retard and the whole "globalist network of semitic snake cultists establishing themselves as a priest class over steppe aryan people, slave raiding european villages" is a very bronze age thing. You're a literal retard if you watch Conan the Barbarian and think it comes off "medieval" instead of some very early iron age/late bronze age setting.

>You're a literal retard if you watch Conan the Barbarian and think it comes off "medieval" instead of some very early iron age/late bronze age setting.
Absolute low IQ retard thinks the conan movie is accurate to what howard wrote
Too illiterate to read stories written in pulp magazines in the 1930s
>The king and his allies moved westward at the head of fifty thousand menβ€”knights in shining armor with their pennons streaming above their helmets, pikemen in steel caps and brigandines, cross-bowmen in leather jerkins. They crossed the border, took a frontier castle and burned three mountain villages, and then, in the valley of the Valkia, ten miles west of the boundary line, they met the hosts of Conan, king of Aquiloniaβ€”forty-five thousand knights, archers and men-at-arms, the flower of Aquilonian strength and chivalry.
Yeah knights and castles are really bronze age. Retard
>And while the fallen king stared with burning eyes that reflected the bitter rage and humiliation that ate his heart, the squires stripped Valannus of mail shirt, burganet and leg-pieces, and clad him in Conan's armor of black plate-mail, with the vizored salade, and the dark plumes nodding over the wyvern crest. Over all they put the silken surcoat with the royal lion worked in gold upon the breast, and they girt him with a broad gold-buckled belt which supported a jewel-hilted broadsword in a cloth-of-gold scabbard.
Yeah all this armor sounds really close to what they wore in the bronze age

I was, as always, much interested in your remarks concerning the classical world, of which I know so little. What a city Alexandria must have been! I had no idea of the origin of the word parchment. As I’ve said before, your letters are an actual education for me. Some day I must try to study the ancient Grecian world. Its always seemed so vague and unreal to me, in contrast to the roaring, brawling, drunken, bawdy chaos of the Middle Ages in which my instincts have always been fixed. When I go beyond the Middle Ages, my instincts veer to Assyria and Babylon, where again I seem to visualize a bloody, drunken, brawling, lecherous medley. My vague instincts towards classical Greece go no further than a dim impression of calm, serene white marble statues in a slumbering grove. Though I know the people of the classic times must have wenched and brawled and guzzled like any other people, but I can not concieve of them. The first mythology I ever read was that of Greece, but even then it seemed apart and impersonal, without the instinctive appeal I later found in Germanic mythology.

If howard loved the bronze age so much then why did he only write less than ten stories set in the bronze age but he wrote over fifty set in the middle ages?

There's just not enough data on it. We have no written histories, mythology, philosophy, or other literature from them. All we have are some buried ruins, rusty artifacts, and occasional tax records of which half we can't even translate. About all we can say is "They seemed to have liked Bulls a lot" and what can be inferred about the "Palace Economies" based on how their settlements were organized.

It's at best, a cool style of aesthetics if you feel like white pillars and chitons are too boring when depicting ancient greece.
I would however love to see someone make a bronze age greece mythology adaptation where Poseidon is a chthonic deity and Hades doesn't exist, just for the confusion it would cause

Not exactly. The Hittite king complains about mercenaries helping the Troyans. This is actually part of the troyan cycle, I believe Heracles was at some point doing that for instance, the war in illiad however, although imo likely, isn't attested by any contemporary source.
