there is some truth to this, Rome relied on slaves and foederati to protect their borders and ceased to be the military core of the empire, there was certainly demographic change in Rome and power shifted to the east and to the north

if by "too woke" you mean "decadent upper class obsessed with amassing slaves at the expense of the organic polity for hedonistic reasons", then yeah you are right. billionaires are destroying the West in order to import slave labour, and the middle classes accept it because it lets them live a gentry-like lifestyle again with deliveroos, gardeners, maids, etc.

Rome fell after it adopted Christianity.

All the local people worshipped Roman Gods and then slaves and other class worshipped Rabbi Yeshua. This weakened social bonds and continuous slave revolts as they no longer felt beholden to their masters who worshipped different Gods.
