Spend your late teens and early twenties building yourself into the person you want to be and then start looking for someone to build a life with as you approach 30. This is like insanely rational advice for the modern world, I am not sure what you thought I said but I really don't see how there could be any reasonable grounds to say this is "insane". If you manage to find someone worth keeping at 19 or 20 don't let them go, but it's good advice to just monk it and focus on yourself in your early 20s should that not be the case.
