I have deeply studied and contemplated many different views about the nature of god. After so much research, work, contemplation, and so on, I have to say the Islamic conception of god makes absolutely the most sense. Some will seethe at this, but it has to be said.

No you misunderstand. I was born into the religion, shia specifically. However due to influences like Rumi, and reading the coran actually for myself and discovering what it teaches about apostasy, (it's not a sin to leave Islam if you've been forced into it), I have seen that I am a spiritual person also, and thus I have now come to the path between faith, and spirituality, where I am basically someone who says no, I don't understand, or agree with everything, but I don't claim to know everything about life so I remain on the fence. I don't know the truth, but my life revolves right now about finding that truth. There's definitely much to be learned about Islam for me, and I will one day find that truth but I need much hard work.

There is a possibility that you are able to understand by now that the "one supreme God" concept leads to intellectual intolerance, pride, and lack of curiosity and creativity, and that the extreme submissiveness engineered by it has produced disastrous effects on peoples' dignity and self-worth.

No, I disagree. I came to this conclusion of the one supreme god by myself after deep study of texts and personal reflection dissociated from any dogma or pressure from the outside. I am extremely open, I love freedom above everything and this translates well into my personal life. So, if I am a lover of freedom, and I believe in the idea of one supreme god, doesn't that disprove your argument?

I wouldn't speak of god having a will, rather perhaps a set of laws that he wants us to follow. Because will is an aspect of the mind and god it can be argued doesn't have a mind at least not in the same way we humans do. And knowing this law for sure, to be honest I think whatever I do spiritually i always follow my gut. My gut tells me lying is wrong. Gut refined through spiritual practices such as prayer and asceticism can guide me.
