The Trinity is not always God in three persons, the relationship changes in sects that don't adhere to the council of Nicaea. For example, some non-Nicene Christians believe in the trinity but claim that the Son was only divine but not God and was made by God instead. And there are some protestant groups who deny the trinity as well. If you would like to say these Christians worship a different God then the faith of Christianity is quite ill-defined. Though I know you would just call these groups not Christian as an easy way out.

However, Early Christians also make 0 mention of the Trinity and everything within the Bible can be explained without the Trinity as evidenced through critical studies of the Bible and its surrounding context that shows the writers of the Bible worked within preexisting theology and logic traditions. The Trinity was simply an innovation made later by newer Christians. The Earliest Christians did not believe in the Trinity. The Apostles never even heard of the Trinity. It is more accurate to say that believing in the Trinity is believing in some God that is not the Christian God.
