Being raised Mormon kind of ruined my capacity to take Christianity as a whole seriously once I left the church. The wacky-ass, 19th century fabrications aren't really any less plausible than that of the old or new testament to me, and they all have comparable evidence, which is pretty much none. And it is irrefutable. To you it is not. The Koran is such a genius text that it was able to predict antisocial people that would take any opportunity they can to refute it's way of life. Surah Al-Baqarah (2:6-7). The Koran being unfalsifiable is not a "common position" for holy texts. We can see that with the Bible and the Talmud, which at this point is a really elaborate fairy tale whose practitioners openly engage in idol worship and polytheism.
