Christianity only worked so long as it was understood to be for the people of God, and that they form collectively the living body of God upon the earth. This is like how he referred to the ever living gods, which were those of Olympus manifested by their respective bloodlines. The problem with the greek system was that it was not unified enough to throw off the foreign, non white, detritus that was trying to drag civilization under. The unification in Christ of all such people of God into one body for their salvation through embracing the mantle of God's authority worked. and it worked very well indeed until the body was redefined to include those who never were of any god, and so had no place in the body of the God of gods.
