Dawkins, as brilliant as he is in evolutionary biology, is a complete joke in scholarly circles when it comes to religion, philosophy, anthropology and the like. To put it in context, he is at least two tiers below Jordan "Lobsters" Peterson, which was among other things somewhat apparent in their more recent debate. Even Alex O'Connor was attempting to subtly explain to Dawkins what the religious concepts were that Peterson was talking about, but Dawkins seemingly didn't budge.
