>Iranic
no such word exists. That's Iranian.

Turkish/Turkic makes sense, because the ethnic Turkish and the ethnic Turkic are the different stuffs.
The ethnic Iranians and the ethnic ""Iranics"" are the same thing on the other hand.
>B... but, Iranians in Islamic republic of Iran are only a part of the Iranics
They have never made up an ethnicity "Iranian" to distinguish Iranians inside and outside of historical Persia.

"Iranic" is 100% a real word—used in linguistics to refer to the broader family of Iranic peoples and languages (Persian, Kurdish, Pashto, etc.). "Iranian" = citizen of Iran, but not all Iranic peoples are Iranian nationals. Same logic as Turkish (specific) vs Turkic (broad family).

Saying Iranics and Iranians are the same is just wrong—Kurds and Pashtuns are Iranic but not Iranian. The “Iranian ethnicity” is mostly modern shorthand for Persians, but historically people identified by tribe or language, not some made-up umbrella.

It's called Elamite.

So, Kurds aren't ""Iranian"" and Balochs are ""Iranian""? sounds odd.
the political term and the linguistic term sound getting mixed up at this point.

Iranic is a lingustic grouping. For example, "Sogdian" is a now-extinct Iranic language.
Or at least, there is no practical difference between "Iranic" and "Iranian" when referring to languages and ancient cultures.
In fact, "Iranic" can be more useful if you don't want to confuse any part of the subject with modern-day "Iranians" or the modern-day nation-state of "Iran."
