I don't mean in a theological way where "free will doesn't exist", or a late stage capitalism way where you own nothing and corporations own everything (but that is part of it).

I mean 99% of humans are completely worthless fodder used as a labor and fighting force by whatever faction happens to control the land you were born on. There's no such thing as a popular uprising or a people's revolution, everything is just controlled opposition.
America is the closest "the people" ever came to being in charge, but that just meant "people who were rich but not of noble birth". Aka the middle class. But that doesn't exist anymore. There's nowhere for us to run to, to expand. Every inch of this planet is owned by someone else and we can't do anything about it.

I understand this isn't a new idea or anything, but I'm a young guy who's just now starting to understand and come to terms with this reality.
