This is your regular reminder that the Dendra armour is old that it would be a hundreds of years old antique by the time of the historical Trojan War and therefore shouldn't be in the new Odyssey movie either.

all historical warlike cultures wear heaver and sturdier armor as time goes on. is there any reason for you to think that by the time of the trojan war armor like this would be less used?

I like late 16th century armor. Not the flashiest but very functional and very protective.

Mid Qing is less aesthetic than Later Jin with full length segmented armguards and metal warmasks.
