Everything Christians say on here are the same exact things they were saying 2,000 years ago and they were debunked by ancient philosophers like Celsus back then. They have no new arguments or ideas, just parroting the same old shit with nothing to show for it. None of it ever came true then and none of it will ever come true now.

Because this religion forbids it?>>17865645
Well since God is the source of good and is good himself, wouldn't it be counterintuitive to stray away fromm good? God prevents degeneracy and descent into a sodomite society. God delivering the ancient peoples into the hands of Israel fits into the problem of evil, so bad things happening to good people is not an argument for the nonexistent of God.
Also if there were no extraordinary events, how would transcendence of God be revealed if we'd never recognize them?

If evil were to be destroyed, so would our will to either choose or reject God, and we would never know good.

Being an atheist is not an excuse for being wicked. In the day of judgement we will all be judged for what we did and for the desires we desired in our hearts and for the things we fantasized about in our minds and we will be repaid accordingly.

So do good and be rigtheous. The Bible teaches you what is rigtheousness is so you can do it. It's not about belonging to a religion or a church but about relying in the instructions of God that leads to a joyful and eternal life.

Many who are in the religion do not follow the teachings and so are not heading in the right direction and they will perish in the last day.

You can't let those who give God a bad name put you off of loving God who can heal you and from whom you would greatly benefit. Obeying God is for your own good, there is a surprise in the end of the road God is telling to walk on. There is a priceless treasure waiting for you in the end and many great treasures you will find along the way.

Treasures that you couldn't but with money even if you were a trillionaire. Secret wisdom and magical abilities will unlock in you and you will have unbelievable experiences regularly through your life. You will befriend spirits and angels and have conversations with them. Until the end and if you resist until the end you will be awoken from death in the last day to enjoy a golden age of wonders. Peace joy and unimaginable pleasures and rejoicing will be yours forever

Afterwards you will witness the judgement of the wicked who oppressed the rigtheous and some will be given into your hands to do with them as you please and do justice to their victims. You will be given the right to judge them and the power to punish them and decide their fate if you are among those who are victorious and resist evil until the end.

Then you will live forever in an infinite paradise where you will never run out of New things to experience for eternity.

Evil is not worth doing, it will be repaid badly in the end.

You take refuge in what God considers evil. So if God came to destroy evil today you would be destroyed along with it. Which is why God is so long suffering and patient and has not done it yet. He is so loving that he keeps giving generation after generation time to repent. And since in every generation a few do repent and turn to rigtheousness, he has profit.

He loves the world and wants it to be saved. But evil must be punished, God is perfect justice so his rigtheousness hands that evil get punished. Only then will justice will be done.

Seek the mercy of God and gain his forgiveness for your evil before evil gets punished. If you die in evil deeds you will have to pay for it and the price of evil is too high.

God is merciful to those who turn to him and no longer do evil. If you cling on to rigtheousness and do what is good he won't even judge you, he will forgive all your deeds and grant you eternal joy in his magical kingdom.

Free will is made up gaslighting to put deflection against a nonsensical god

Not to mention the bible says you don't have free will

Alright, how about look at it like this: God is all powerful, right? So, the free will that us humans have is totally in our prerogative to carry out, but God sees all possibilities in every single movement and can still make what he wants to happen regardless. You get what I'm saying?

As for that Romans verse, it doesn't preclude free will. If you, today, decided you wanted to receive God's grace, then it was your choice and God would want you to receive his mercy and grace. Choice matters, otherwise there'd be no point to all of this.

If you reject the intrinsic sense of morality, then there must be a standard by which one can judge standards - Aztecs would sacrifice children and eat their hearts out daily, and to them this was good, but would any rational outsider think it is?
If you embrace the moral standard then your sense of good must come from a source of good, which is God. In any case we cannot have an arbitrary standard since consequentalism does not work, we don't euthanise the mentally disabled becuase their existence is uneconomical, this would be horrendeous.

>how would transcendence of God be revealed if we'd never recognize them?
Why would god be hiding for thousands of years if he wants to be revealed, why wouldn't he just be hanging out at the local hangout and chatting with others like everyone else who actually wants to be social?

So revelation isn't going to happen, god isn't going to destroy evil as prophesied because that would destroy good too because he can't completely control his powers as they are necessarily intertwined with evil?
