Why are they so superior to the other Slavs?

Without Russia nobody would even know what a Slav is. Nobody outside of Europe fucking knows what Poland or Slovenia is, but EVERYONE knows Russia.

I will get a lot of criticism for this post, but it is what it is. Slavs are fucking pathetic. If Russia didn't go to space or won WW2, they would have nothing.

What's weirder is that many Russian nationalists believe they are the Aryan race, thanks to books such as The True History of the Russian People, and others. I've even seen people online try to explain how the swastika is actually an ancient Slavic symbol. It's ridiculous.

There were no "Russians winning independence from Mongol domination". Its beautification of history post factum. What happened in the civil war in Ulus of Jochi one of the cities (Moscow) won and became leader of that state. There is no common identity to being Russian besides speaking the simplest Slavic language.

"Ethnic Russian" is meaningless newspeak. USSR made a deliberate effort to mix the population up and now everyone who is Slavic-passing and speaks Russian gets to be called "ethnic Russian". Because there is nothing inherently "Russian" besides a simplified Slavic language.

Most of the cities there were built during Imperial times and colonizes by people from central Russia. During soviet times it was one of the most prosperous of republics. They squandard all of this legacy in a few decades of their so called independence.
