If Tukhachevsky wasn't executed, no one would remember or credit him with anything today, he's literally only brought up to make an argument about Stalin being evil or whatever, just like how Trotsky is only remembered because he was popularised in the west. It's done to absurd degree, i often see him being credited with entirely of soviet military doctrine and winning ww2
