Why do billions worship Yaldabaoth when he refuses to even communicate with us and recorded a big list of his crimes, genocides, and failures in a big book so we'd know exactly how evil and stupid he is?

Are most people intellectually dead? Philosophical zombies?
Is it just a result of centuries of persecution of rational thought by the Church?

It was also the cutting edge in technology for warfare during the Bronze Age.

Yahweh: the Fairy-type Pokémon.
It is a ferocious Pokémon of indomitable strength. It is said to have been the creator of the region.

You're using his paleo-Christian name. We have since stopped referring to our God as Yaldabaoth.

Specifically cold iron, and yes. It warded away evil spirits, demons.. it’s why it’s always good to keep some around. But yes if you want to read into it YHWH was afraid of a demon-expelling substance.

Holy shit. It's even in the ritual laws.
>Build there an altar to the Lord your God, an altar of stones. Do not use any iron tool on them.
And curses.
>And he will put a yoke of iron on your neck until he has destroyed you.
And in the prophets.
>The sin of Judah is written with a pen of iron
What's YHWH's problem with iron?

The funny thing about iron is that it's not really "better" than bronze in terms of strength, malleability, weather resistance, etc. Bronze is a superior metal in many ways to iron, and matched against iron bronze will come out on top. It's just a lot more common, is all. The only reason they weren't using iron from the beginning is it's actually fairly difficult to work with, due to its high melting point and figuring out carbon ratios. So while iron is in fact a common, weaker metal, the technology required to harness it is significantly more advanced than with bronze, which is why switching from bronze to iron is seen as "progress" in spite of the overall lower quality of metal.

When the Romans came to Judea they were bearing weapons of iron. Jesus was nailed to the cross with iron nails.
