By writing this article lol.

Yah/Yaw/Yam was actually a minor sea god, Christians are now trying to link him to the sky which are Baal's and Dagan's domain to elevate his position in the Canaanite pantheon in order to pass him as some sort of proto-high god.

Christian wewuzzing then is just accepted as fact by people like you OP without even noticing you are being manipulated.

Wikipedia uses Reddit tier sources from the atheist editors and mods to degrade the religion at every instance,

Like if you go to the history of the davidic kingdom United kingdom of Israel before separation into Judah and Israel they use the lack of contemporary sources as justification to say their own baseless theory as fact “the United Kingdom never existed”, or on Hebrew origins on figures like Abraham they say that he didn’t exist and that Hebrews never invaded Canaan. they then cite anti religious historians who don’t have proof who push their counter theories and the editors present their theories as factual.

Like there in this article they are using the counter theory of Israelite polytheistic religion they are using the counter theory that Israel was always pagan and only became monotheistic later through natural means, if you challenge this idea they say “well there are no contemporary sources about what religion Israelites followed so my theory sounds nicer to atheistic anti religious beliefs so I think that’s what happened you can’t challenge my theory because you have no sources either”.

When it’s likelier that the ethnic groups surrounding Israel adopted Yahweh as a minor deity too. and while at some points in time Israelites or sections of the population became polytheistic too. These people interpret the historical clues to push their theory that Israelites were pagan and became monotheistic through natural means and Yahweh was just another pagan god that every Levantine followed to some extent and later became the sole god in Israel

Christians weren't the only ones who wanted to erase Yahweh's existence. Several reforms were made to prohibit Yahweh from historical texts, the most famous of which were the religious reforms made by Ezekias, King of Judea.
