Thr middle east was 20% Christian until 100 years ago. The only reason the Christian presence in MENA is demolished is because of the Ottoman genocides (which countries like Britian aritifically propped up for hundreds of years just to annoy the Russians) and because of the western powers themselves carving up the region. Christians would have Constantinople back, they'd have a single powerful secular hashemite kingdom which would protect religious minorities, and they'd prevent the widespread death and exodus of Christians from the region without their coming policies of preventing secular panarab governments from arising by instead bankrolling the Saudi wahhabists which are known to persecute Christians.

The civil war was a long and multifaceted conflict, but if you're specifically referring to the end of it and the driving out of the Israeli occupiers, vast majority take that as a positive. Hezbollah used to have pretty widespread support among most in the country at the start, that only ended after they had time to rule the south and everybody saw that they were incompetent islamists (albeit not the type that bomb churches like sunnis, and at least they kept Israel at bay for a time). Media might say otherwise, but nobody in Lebanon truly likes Israel, not Christians and not Druze, most you'll hear is some say they wish for them (Israel and Hezbollah) to wipe each other out. I'd prefer a secular nationalist government, but honestly atp I fear the new Syrian "government" and Israel working to partition Lebanon more than I do Hezbollah and their ineptitude when it comes to governing.
