How much seething was there at the time, that a literal Peasant was the first man to reach and explore space?

I guess maybe some spoiled children of uber-rich parents got a little petulant because their daddies didn't pay to send them to space instead of Gagarin
Your question is strange

"Explore" is a generous word when you're talking about literal empty space.

No proofs he even went to space. Soviets just claimed he did. Would you actually believe the Soviets? Soviets didn’t launch a man in space until the 1970s

We have hearsay about the soviets being liars.
We have proof of the USA and NATO being notorious liars.
So it's obviously the USSR which has likely lied. American logic.

Never happened. Neither did the Apollo missions. The international space station is also fake

Nobody cared. The Soviets were just proud they got a guy into space before the capitalist pigs. He was exactly what the Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Air Force was looking for, anyway, as he was a qualified and skilled pilot.

There was no really effective means of rescuing Gagarin from the spacecraft if the rocket malfunctioned in flight and he was launched with a high probability that he wouldn't survive.

Now it's just some rich women breaching the atmosphere and playing astronaut while tens of thousands of people who spent their whole lives trying to be astronauts realized they should have been roastie celebrities instead. Peak America.
