It's modern day paganism. A bunch of loosely connected temples who have some shared beliefs and scripture. They believe piety is rewarded with material wealth and who think anything negative happening in life is the result of them upsetting their god. Giving away money to their pastor is the modern day equivalent of sacrificing your healthiest calf to Zeus.
I do think this sort of religion will come to an end within our lifetime, however. Support for Israel is lower than its ever been and its likely future evangelical groups will focus on keeping members rather than trying to parade their piety since their supply of money will only get smaller.

I dont get why people make such a big deal over christians going to the western wall. Its just a pilgrimage site and shrine. Praying there doesnt mean youre some slave to the jews or whatever nonsense youre spouting. Im jewish and when i went to israel i went to a number of christian pilgrimage sites and prayed there as well. We both worship the same god.
