I cannot find anything about this book online. It sells for 99 cents on Amazon, where it has no description, reviews, or any information about the author.
It does provide a readable sample, and it seems like the answer to your question is "yes"

What an unusual thing to say. If it's wrong, it's a threat. If it's right, it's still a threat.

Who is the charismatic leader that all the atheists have to follow?
What holy book did that charismatic leader write or inspire?
How much money or time do I have to pay to the central headquarters to join atheism?
What are the rewards and punishments by central for breaking the rule outlined in the book by the leader?

It's considered a religion in America.
Legally.
So any atheist can open up a church for atheists.

>Who is the charismatic leader that all the atheists have to follow?
There are many. Dawkins, Harris, that fat faggot on youtube, etc. Not to mention commie leaders.
>What holy book did that charismatic leader write or inspire?
The God Delusion. Das Kapital. Most shows on TV e.g. Family Guy, the endless tranny shit, etc.
>How much money or time do I have to pay to the central headquarters to join atheism?
How much time and money are you going to spend on worldly pleasures?
>What are the rewards and punishments by central for breaking the rule outlined in the book by the leader?
At best, social ridicule or shame. At worse all torture or death. The same as religion. And unlike religion, there is no honor dying for atheism.

If you don't already implicitly believe that mysticism and religion are inferior there would be no need to try and "drag down" atheism to a religion. Hilariously revealing faggotry.

>There are many.
No, that means there isn't a leader and it isn't a cult, a cult is when there is a leader, not when anyone in the organization can speak with the same level of authority of a leader.

>endless...
Again, you didn't list a holy book, you listed an endless number of random books that summarize a bunch of random atheist's opinions that have equal value because their is not central authority dictating the parameters.

>How much time and money are you going to spend on worldly pleasures?
So you admit that you get to keep all your money to spend it how you see fit because you don't have to tithe to some atheist authority to remain in good standing with the atheist organization?

>At best, social ridicule or shame. At worse all torture or death.
At the hands of religions organizations who need followers and don't want your logic to make them bleed members, not at the hands on of the central authority of atheism.

>there is no honor dying for atheism.
There is no central atheist organization that can benefit from martyrs.

No, it shouldn't.
No religions should really as per the separation of church and state.
But really, nothing about atheism operates like a religion that should be recognized legally by the state.

>>17900587
Then why do none of the names or books you listed lead or support any of those organizations?
Could it be because cult leaders can use any name they want, but it doesn't make beef a cult just because some guy decided to name his cult the cult of the dead cow anymore than it makes atheism a cult just because someone said their group is atheist?

Most people don't read books and get their religion from slop like Family Guy. That's why I mentioned it. It's relevant to the question of influential content.
>>17900579
Not all religious groups have a central leadership structure, as you seem to think. Anyway, I'm not really interested in defending religion, only theism. If you associate theism with centralized religion, I will associate atheism with harmful ideologies e.g. communism. The strength of the argument is the same in either case.

>Not all religious groups have a central leadership structure, as you seem to think.
No, I think you just moved the goal posts from cult to religious group because you know the thing that distinguishes the two is a charismatic leader who centralizes authority or whom the authority of the organization is derived from.

>If you associate theism with centralized religion, The vast majority of theists subscribe to a centralized religion, but that isn't true with the majority of atheists who tend to be more anti-authoritarian and anarchistic rather than getting in line to drink the magical blood from the magical priest who can turn liquor into the dead leader's bodily fluids.

this screed reminds me of the time, about twenty or so years ago, when a philosopher called Anthony Flew, who was apparently the atheist pope, although I've never heard of him, so this Anthony Flew, in his late old years, saud something about intelligent design having merits. the usual christard outlets were repeating this day and night, essentially demanding us to follow our leader who was totally unknown to us until then. it did not make any difference that about two weeks later he clarified his admittedly garbled previous words. it did not matter that we never heard of him before.

By this definition any wide spread belief, group(s) or social movement is a "cult". There is no line here between a "cult" and "people who agree with each other and collaborate in some way."
