>Went to Dresden for the nightlife—turns out it peaked in 1945.
>Dresden: the city that went from ‘nice place to visit’ to ‘very hot place to avoid’ real quick.
>The city had a hot arts scene—then just a hot scene.
>Dresden’s architecture was fire… unfortunately, so was everything else.
>When Dresden said ‘drop by anytime,’ the RAF really took it to heart.
>Dresden tried to host a barbecue. Everyone brought planes instead of ribs.
>Someone said ‘light up the city’—they forgot to say it was a bad idea.
>They said Dresden was worth preserving — so they preserved it as a giant pile of ashes.
>Dresden’s tourism slogan now: ‘Come for the history, stay because the city’s still burning.
>I asked a historian if Dresden had a heated past. He said, ‘Buddy… incendiary.’

Why is city bombing only a big deal to Natsoc types when it's Dresden being bombed? Nazniggers were bombing civilian centers by the time Dresden was flattened.

I think its because Dresden was a purely civilian target and bomber command said they were hitting solely to hurt the civilian population.
While the Germans bombed frontline cities being used by their respective nation's armed forces as garrisons.
Dresden was also firebombed with bombers while Germany didnt have heavy bombers or firebombs, they were using precision Close Air Support.
>but London
ok we can call Dresden retaliation for London, now explain Hamburg and Bremen.

Dresden was a massive manufacturing center for high tech war materials (especially glass lenses) and the prime logistics hub for German troop movements on the eastern front, it was a completely legitimate target

That's not why it was hit, Arthur Harris even said he isnt bombing dresden for logistical or economic sabotage but to inflict pain on the German people to motivate them to overthrow their government.
Sounds really familiar to something we see today, something involving jews, B2 bombers, Iraq, Iran, Libya..... huh.... I AM NOOOOOOOTICING

No but seriously He actually said it was about inflicting pain on the civilians. Maybe it was a "massive" (protip: it wasnt) industrial center, but they deliberately hit the residential areas and field hospitals with incendiaries.
