Germans would have ran over most of Europe and Japs much of East Asia and then they would have gotten into grindfests in Soviet or Chinese lands and who even knows who would have gotten on top then and how much more destruction would have followed.

It depends, they would need to fight Japan either way.
But let's say they ignore Europe. If both Germans and Soviets + Brits grind each other even more than they did then US probably would have won even more, but if one side got upper hand and won more soundly then US would be worse off in post WW2 situation, at least weaker geopolitically.
