When people think of god they are stuck in the bible mentality, an old man with a white beard, all powerful sitting on a throne. that's just a childish mindset, we project our own insecurities onto god. We are dumb, so we think of him as all knowing, we can't be everywhere, so we think of him as being infinite, we are powerless, so we think of him as being all powerful. God is who we want to be, a goal, not what actually is. If you want to know god, the true god, then you need to take a look around you and tell me what do you see, what do you feel.
