If we count the lifespan of the oldest humans, which is 90-100 years, there has been only 40 generations since the days of early summeria.

Is not completelly impossible for a modern family to have eactly the memories of 20-30 previous generations.

>humans can sometimes live up to 90-100 years old
>therefore a generation is 100 years
That's now how generations work bro

I don't mean generation in the 20 year span.

I mean like the entire span of all the people of a society alive.

I mean more in a cultural sense.

>I mean like the entire span of all the people of a society alive.
That's usually expressed by phrases like "within living memory"

kinda.

after a century there wouldn't be people alive that will remember what was like during the previous cicle.

It could be expressed as Human Lifespans

but I don't mean human, because I am talking about a society living memories.

You also need to calculate not all life spans are the same a 150 years ago people usually died in their 40s or 50s and a few were lucky to live to be 65 or 70, and further back in time life spans were even shorter most people died in their late 30s or 40s, and only a rare lucky few made into their 60s
