Trent’s Bible Canon
Did the Council of Trent finalise the canon of scripture or did it just state which books were infallibly deemed canonical with the possibility of the addition of more?

lots of bible books floating around back then
so the big wigs did a council of nicea
and wrote the nicene creed
the definitive statement of christian theology
and then
they looked at all the bible books floating around and used the nicene creed to weed out the heresies

2 OT - the most conservative Apocrypha canon, which Luther compiled and Rome canonized at Trent, includes extra material >>17912659
3 OT - There's a lot
