Of course, one issue with bringing back factories and domestic manufacturing in order to revive said job markets is that the standard of living in the western world is much higher than it is in countries like Asia where labor is often outsourced to, which necessitates higher wages like you said, but this also leads to far more expensive product that would diminish the value of said higher wages in the first place.
You can reduce the cost of bare minimum necessities, thus allowing unskilled labor to still live off of lower working wages, but this could have an overall compounding effect on the standard of living of the west as a whole.

Inevitable end result of feminism. The class of people who ultimately will never have the same responsibilities levied on them having the same privileges and rights as the class expected to do the heavy lifting just means the productive class will check out. Same problem with socialism, too. Ultimately if you want an energetic society you have to be able to pay the producers. This can be materially with land, currency, luxuries, etc. and if not that then with social currency like stable families, respected positions in communities, etc. Feminism and this rotten mixed-market economics have ensured that men cannot be paid sufficiently for anything other than the bare minimum and so more and more men do the bare minimum.
