A person either believes or does not believe, it is a feeling, it does not depend on rational choice. Rational choice gives birth to knowledge, not faith.

The problem is that it isn't:

It's:

This is because you haven't considered a third possibility: the idea that believing in God sends you to hell, and that rejecting God sends you to heaven

It sounds silly to a Christian, but to an atheist, this possibility is just as likely as the traditional Christian view

This is why Pascal's wager will never work

Pascal's Wager asserts that there can only be one correct way to believe in God, while also acknowledging that rejecting God is infinitely bad.
